Our toilet seats are obtained by the employment of an actibacterial compound, made up of an urea-formaldehyde condensate, a cellulose-derived organic filler and a percentage of silver ions. This compound allows to drastically reduce or even remove the growth of micro-organisms, including bacteria and fungi, by maintaining the following main features of the product unchanged: solidity, non-flammability, tastelessness and odourlessness, resistance to acid, oily and fat substances and to the most common organic solvents.
Thanks to the employment of an antimicrobial additive, all our products are certified for the prevention of attacks by the most common micro-organisms, including: Escherichia coli , Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus vulgaris, Salmonella typhi, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pyogenes, Candida albicans. Therefore, they are especially suitable for hospitals, communities, hotels, restaurants, airports, etc. The antimicrobial action is based on the natural features of the silver ions, inhibiting the growth of a wide range of micro-organisms. Furthermore, the typical eccellent physical and chemical features of Urea are kept unalterate. They include: electrical insulation, fair-resistance, color stability, allergene resistance.
